Plum & Rose Champagne Cocktail

I must admit, I’m not a big PB&J lover. I know, it seems blasphemous to even type that as I know that classic combo is held in high regard. I was raised to appreciate peanut butter as a savory condiment and my father would make many interesting sandwich combinations with that in mind (I’ll spare you the details). I do enjoy jam as an ingredient in a salad dressing, marinade and of course… COCKTAIL.

I especially love a champagne cocktail and have recently declared #champagnecocktailfriday an unofficial weekly holiday (at least during the pandemic). I’ve also been more conscious as to where I spend my dollar and recently I picked up these DELECTABLE jams from Trade Street Jam Co. - a Black/woman owned business out of Brooklyn.

I knew immediately that I was going to make a champagne cocktail with the Plum & Rose jam and WOW it was amazing. Recipe is below. I’ll keep you posted as to what mischief I get into with the Blackberry Mulled Merlot and Strawberry Chipotle & Fig.
